Photography-light, room and self

Project type

Photograph

As a photographer, I see the camera as a medium to observe both myself and the world around me. Being an introverted person with an active mind, much of my work explores the relationship between people and light in relatively confined spaces. A significant portion of my photography involves self-portraiture, where I capture the subtle nuances of my own face, hair, and expressions. Additionally, I focus on the intimate expressions of those closest to me, creating an environment where my subjects feel comfortable enough to invoke their inner emotions. By encouraging my models to engage with their true selves, I am able to capture authentic moments and the complexities of human interaction with light and the lens.

I also have a strong passion for post-production, where I love experimenting with tools like Lightroom to refine and enhance my images. I enjoy manipulating colors and contrasts to evoke specific emotions and create visually striking imagery. For me, post-production is not just about editing; it’s an extension of the creative process—allowing me to bring my vision to life and transform raw moments into something unique.

My equipment includes the Canon EOS 750D, Fujifilm X-T2, Canon A1(film), Konica Big Mini 210 (film cameras), and the Samsung Digimax A6, which I used to shoot an advertisement for Dr. Jackson.
